Hamilton NJPositionReporting to the Program Lead, the Business Analyst (BA) will be responsible for working between technology, operations and business teams to document business process flows (current and future state), gap assessments, business requirements, wireframes and other business analysis artifacts.
Additionally, this position will lead systems and user acceptance testing, documenting test plans, test cases, executing tests, entering and triaging defects.
This position will also be responsible for managing change (training, rollout) to the end users and acting as a liaison as the solution is rolled out and used.
This position may also pick up project management responsibilities for some of the smaller projects, as applicable.
ResponsibilitiesActively liaison with business partners to elicit information about current state and future state business processes and procedures.
Break down business process into requirements for technology projects and operational proceduresProvide change management support as new functions and systems are rolled out.
Provide training and education to end users of the Family Office applications within Capital ManagementAssists Business Project Manager with project-related deliverables including business requirements, user interface designs, project plans, test plans, test cases, and testing.
QualificationsBachelor's degree required; advanced degree, preferredA minimum of 5 years of related business analyst experienceA minimum of 3 years of financial services experienceSkillsBusiness Domain expertise - Wealth ManagementFamily Office Advisory ServicesTrust ServicesElicit, analyze and document both business and technical requirements.
Perform impact analysis and gap analysis.
Manage stakeholders and conduct requirement workshop.
Mapping processes and use cases into system requirements.
Guide the technical teams and vendor teams, if applicable.
Write functional design specifications, design testing strategies and define acceptance criteria.
Possesses excellent communication skills.
Knowledge in Agile methodologies.
Lead working with development teams on a project portfolio with appropriate development teams.
Solid understanding contemporary tools and approaches to delivery (e.
g.
, Agile Development)Strategic thinker, passionate about identifying opportunities and driving changeAdaptable, comfortable in ambiguity.
