The position is a project-based assignment to support several process improvement initiatives in the Human Resources Department.
Projects include the review of leave administration and documentation of process.
The incumbent will support the benefits area and collaborate with other areas of the department to support continuous improvement.
Assist with the documentation of standard operating procedures and communication of HR project status.
The position is a hybrid role located at the West Windsor campus, Trenton campus or remote.

) The primary function of this position will be to assess and revise projects as identified by HR leadership.
Assist with benefits and leave administration; as well as actions related to workers compensation.
Identify best practices throughout the industry to ensure that MCCC is applying them in meeting needs of internal customers.
Collaborate with HR staff and leadership to assist college community appropriately and in a timely manner to enhance communication.
Sourcing of resources to aid in quality process improvement in the area of leave administration Ability to aid in the evaluation and execution of HR initiatives Enters data, updates, and verifies data input and retrieves basic report information is accurate.
Adheres to applicable policies and procedures Performs other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Must demonstrate the ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information, data protection and safeguarding electronic documents.
Understanding and use HR and College systems relevant to area of assignment.
Use of personal computer and Cloud based document sharing.
Basic document retention and reporting principles.
Interpreting and applying applicable laws, codes, regulations and standards.
Standard practices, methods and materials of assigned work.
Applicable federal, state and local laws, codes, regulations (based on assignment).
Customer service and communication principles.

Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree and/or enrolled in an accredited program.
Computer proficiency, ability to work with MS Office Suite and database information.
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience with Laser fiche, Acrobat Converter and Smart Sheet a plus.
Experience in Human Resources or complex administrative role.
Prior experience or understanding of HIPPA and other laws related to confidentiality.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
